Our haylage is made from a 100% Italian ryegrass mix grown specifically
for haylage, thus providing the best quality raw material to produce a
top quality product.
Some horses are unable to eat hay due to COPD or competition horses
requiring a higher protein and energy forage will be able to use our
haylage. Our haylage is tested in batches to provide
customers with nutritional information.

Haylage is grass forage which has been cut and dried to 65-75% dry matter, a process called
wilting, before baling and wraping in 6 - 8 layers of plastic film. The plastic film provides an
airtight environment for the fermentation of the sugars present in the grass to take place.
This process produces a highly palatable, nutritious and dust free forage for all types of horses.
