Flax Bedding

This is produced from the stem of the flax plant and is a fine and soft bedding material. It is more absorbent than wood shavings and is very popular for use with rubber matting.

A further benefit is that is quickly breaks down in the muck heap.

A blend of large flaked shavings and chopped wheat straw with eucalyptus oil. This products offers a cost effective alternative to pure shavings. The chopped straw is very absorbent and the shavings give the bed volume. The eucalyptus both makes the bed unappetising and give a pleasant smell to your stable.
